Ingredients
4 packages dairy-free "mozzarella" sticks
1 cup all-purpose flour, divided
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
3/4 cup marinara sauce
Directions

1. Line rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. Place mozzarella sticks on prepared pan; freeze 1 hour

2. Preheat 3-quart air fryer to 400° for 5 minutes.

3. In wide, shallow dish, whisk 1/2 cup flour, garlic powder, salt, baking powder and 1 cup water.

4. In separate wide, shallow dish, stir breadcrumbs and seasoning; place remaining 1/2 cup flour in third wide, shallow dish.

5. Dredge mozzarella sticks in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in flour-water mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then in breadcrumb mixture to coat; place on same pan and spray both sides with cooking spray.

6. In 4 batches, air fry mozzarella sticks 8 minutes or until golden brown and crisp, turning once. Makes 24 mozzarella sticks

7. Serve mozzarella sticks with sauce for dipping.
